FCE Talent Show - Attention all students! The Forest Creek Talent Show is Friday, February 1st, 2019! If you are interested in performing and showing off your talent, the audition form will be posted on the school bulletin board by the office on Thursday, December 13th.  The audition form is due and to be turned into the front office on January 21st, 2019 by 3pm. Auditions will be January 25th, 2019.
Science Fair - FCE's Science Fair 2019/Steam Night is Thursday, January 24th starting at 5pm. This is a great opportunity for your child to participate in various Math/Science/Technology activities hosted by each grade level and view some outstanding Science Fair projects. Students interested in participating can fill out the online registration form here. Please join us!
Science Fair Judges Needed - Want to spend a couple hours on January 24th seeing what our brilliant Coyote scientists are up to? We are in need of Science Fair judges! We will tell you what to do…we will even feed you (or your college students- sign them up too!). Sign up for a shift at here. *You may sign up to judge even if your child is participating- you just can’t judge their grade block*
Collaborative Heritage Art Installation - On February 5 Tuesday from 4:30-6:30, families can come to the art rooms to create their Heritage Sculpture from clay.  On the FCE Art Blog there is a "pattern" and more information about this exciting installation.  Be sure you bring the "pattern" completed so you can make it out of clay.
Artome Art Show and Frame Sale - Student art show is on February 21 from 2:45-7:00 in the cafeteria.  Every student at FCE will have a framed and matted piece of their original art. Come see the amazing artists we have at FCE.  The frames can be bought for $25.
Yearbook - 2018-2019 FCE Yearbooks are now on sale!  Yearbooks will only be sold ONLINE again this year - cash or check payments will only be accepted in May after all pre-ordered books are distributed but don’t wait til then - they may all sell out!  The earlier you order, the less you pay! Orders placed before December 20th are only $25 - starting on December 21st, the price increases to $30. Click here to see information flyer. Go to www.balfour.com and enter Forest Creek Elementary to make your purchase - you will also be able to design and purchase your own HOWL on that same site!  A HOWL is a business card sized ad that allows you to recognize your student or a staff member in the yearbook.
